The RAIDERS of the LOST PARK MUD RUN is a fun event for everyone! Mount Olive Recreation creates a mud run course with 15+ fun, challenging obstacles including a 20 ft mud wall, the Logs of Death and the Mud Pits of Doom, to name a few, along a 5K course. The Raiders of the Lost Park encourages individuals and families to get out and achieve something awesome! Our event is open to children as young as 5 years! Our obstacles are all designed to be fun – like a running through a giant people sized car wash or going down a huge foam slip and slide at the finish line!
This year we have partnered with Project Help, Inc. an all volunteer 501(c)3 charity whose only mission is to help our veterans and their families, preserve their dignity and provide comfort and support in their darkest hours. Join us in this mission if you would like to make a difference in the life of a veteran who gave so much for us.

The Raiders of the Lost Park 5K Mud Run will leave you laughing and feeling quite victorious! A challenging 3.1 mile course with no less than 15+ wet, muddy, challenging and worthy of a true Dr. Jones adventure obstacles.
You will slide down a giant mud wall, crawl through tires and tubes, hurl yourself through waist deep mud, climb structures, battles through the dark woods and more! We PROMISE, you will be wet, muddy and have a true sense of accomplishment at the end of this adventure! The way we see it, you are there to have fun and get a real sense of achievement at the end. If you think a particular obstacle isn’t going to do this for you, just go around it – no shame there.

The Raiders of the Lost Park Mud Run is a rain or shine event. Registration fees are considered donations to the Mount Olive Recreation Department and are not refundable and transferable.
Athlete packets will be sent VIA EMAIL on June 15 to all pre-registrants. It will also be posted on our website and on the Mt Olive Recreation Facebook page on June 15.

On site registration will open at 8:00am and will close promptly at 9:00am! Please show up early if you intend to register on site.
Refund Policy There will be no refunds given for this event even if ill or unable to participate. We have a strict NO REFUND policy as it would be way too difficult to manage each individual case. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. Our internal staff and support line staff are NOT PERMITTED to bend these rules for anyone.

Raiders of the Lost Park will have medics along the course to tend to any and all injuries from a minor scrap to a sprained ankle. We also have a base medic station in our base area for participants to use after they cross the finish line.
There will be one halfway water/rest stop along the course route.
WHAT TO BRING
All registered athletes will receive an athlete packet via email 2 days before the event with details regarding where to park, what to bring, valuable storage, etc. Please remember to check your email for this important information.
Long pants are recommended but not required; tennis shoes are OK but we suggest boots to drain the muck and water. Costumes are welcome!
You may want to bring some old beach towels for your card ride home, as well as garbage bags for your wet clothes.
Mount Olive Recreation is NOT RESPONSIBLE for any damage to your personal items, including but not limited to your cell phone, camera, video camera, iPod, etc.
POST EVENT PARTY
We’ll have a party going as soon as the event begins! Our DJ will fill the event field with energy and music, Food will be on sale, a few supporting vendors and we’ll have lots of photo opportunities, plus you’ll get the chance to cheer on your compatriots as they cross the finish line.
We will have a designated spectator area near the finish line for your friends and family to come cheer you on. Spectators are NOT allowed out on the actual course and must stay within the defined area.
We encourage spectators to bring lawn chairs, strollers, video recorders and cameras. We cannot allow outside food, alcohol or any pets into the event.
Mount Olive Recreation is always seeking volunteers and we could certainly use help with this event! If you are 15 years of age or older, we need course marshals, water station staff, parking assistants, registration help and more!
