Budd Lake Beach season is June 23 – August 18, plus set-up weekends and closing. Part time positions, approximately 7 hours a shift, 4-5 shifts per week, weekends/holidays included. Costs for trainings may be reimbursed at the end of the season.


Be someone’s Hero! Waterfront Lifeguards needed!

Waterfront lifeguard, (strong swimming skills) with Professional Rescuer CPR/AED and first aid certification (or able to obtain certification – we can help you get training).

Lifeguards are responsible for the safety of our patrons and perform basic beach maintenance tasks as needed. Must be at least 16 years of age. Wage based on experience. Starts at $15.00/hour



Gate Attendants

Customer Service opportunity! Greets patrons at the gate, assists them with  beach badges, sales, daily admission, records & reports. Administer minor First Aid. Assists Director and Assistant Director as needed. Help with parties and rentals, assist with emergencies as trained. May also be scheduled to work at the Mt. Olive Pool. As a part of the water safety team,  certification in Adult/Child CPR and Basic First Aid is needed. (Easily obtained at local hospital or other locations) 3-4 days a week. Must be at least 15 years old. $10.00/hour


Splashpad Attendants for Pirates’ Cove at Turkey Brook Park

Season: Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend

Attendants are responsible for basic maintenance, water testing, and patron safe use of the Splash Pad and surrounding areas, managing gazebo rentals and group permits. May also work at the Mt. Olive Pool, customer service, etc.

Part time position,5- 6 hour shifts per facility. Weekends required. $15/hr. Must be at least 18 years old.

Must have a valid driver’s license (for operating a work cart), able to lift 35lbs, able to follow maintenance protocols, able to enforce facility rules. 3-5 shifts per week, including holidays and special events.

Required certifications (reimbursement provided at the end of the season)

  • Certified Pool Operator’s Training(available online)
  • Professional Rescuer CPR & First Aid certification
