Budd Lake Beach season is June 23 – August 19, plus set-up weekends and closing. Must be able to work the entire season.

Part time positions, approximately 7 hours a shift, 4-5 shifts per week, weekends/holidays required.

Be someone’s Hero! Waterfront Lifeguards needed!

Must be certified as a waterfront lifeguard, (strong swimming skills) with Professional Rescuer CPR/AED and first aid certification (or able to obtain certification)

Lifeguards are responsible for the safety of our patrons and perform basic beach maintenance tasks as needed. Must be at least 16 years of age. Wage based on experience. Starts at $11.00/hour

Beach Director

The heart, soul, hands and vision to shape the beach program for our families.

Work with the Aquatic Safety Team to implement a fun, safe summer destination. Must be able to coordinate staff, scheduling, implement emergency action plans, event planning and swim lessons, greet patrons, manage point of sale for admission and seasonal badges. Must become certified in Professional Rescuer CPR/AED and First Aid. Lifeguard experience preferred, or other aquatic experience. Starts at $16.50/hour

Assistant Beach Director

Teamwork makes the dream work!

Must be able to assist the Beach Director in implementing the plans for the beach, and managing staff, customer service, and fill the role of Director, when needed.

Must become certified in Professional Rescuer CPR/AED and First Aid. Lifeguard experience preferred, or other aquatic experience. Starts at $15.50/hour

Gate Attendants

Customer Service opportunity! Greets patrons at the gate, assists them with  beach badges, sales, daily admission, records & reports. Administer minor First Aid. Assists Director and Assistant Director as needed. Help with parties and rentals, assist with emergencies as trained. Must be certified in Adult/Child CPR and Basic First Aid. Must be at least 15 years old. $9.00/hour

Swim Instructors

Superhero needed! Teach children and adults to conqueror fear and develop a love for life aquatic. With help from the Recreation Dept, plan, schedule and implement a Learn to Swim program for at least 6 weeks during the season.

WSI, YMCA, Starfish Aquatics or equivalent certification/experience needed. Starts at $11/hour or per student percentage.

Splashpad Attendants for Pirates’ Cove at Mount Playmore at Turkey Brook Park

Season: May 24 – Sept 3 – must be able to work the entire season.

Splashpad Attendant Interview  : 3/13 & 14; 20 & 21

 Attendants will be responsible for basic maintenance, water testing, and patron safe use of the Splash Pad. Uniform provided.

Part time position, 6 hour shifts. Weekends required. $12/hr. Must be at least 18 years old.

Must have a valid driver’s license (for operating a work cart), able to lift 35lbs, able to follow maintenance protocols, able to enforce facility rules. 3-5 shifts per week, including holidays and special events.

  • Certified Pool Operator’s Training will be scheduled (Or may attend another training and submit receipt for reimbursement)
  • Professional Rescuer CPR & First Aid certification required

Destination Discovery Summer Camp Counselor – Changes Live, Shape the Future!

Summer camp experience can change a child’s attitude, social development and build lifelong skills, provide treasured experiences that will influence who they become for the future of our society.

Camp runs from 6/25 through 8/4. Must be able to work all six weeks. Camp offers Before Care (7am) and After Care (until 6pm). 3 shifts of staffing.  Must become certified in Adult and Child CPR and First Aid. Must be at least 16 years old. Must be able to plan and deliver creative, fun, exciting age appropriate activities for school age children, entering grades 1 – 8. Be able to work with team mates, take initiative, problem solve, be an excellent role model, love children. Starts at $8.50/hour.
